  6. Yes folx, another one of my silly trinkets appears on the net ;-).

  8. MidiWatcher is for people with MIDI keyboards.  It requires the midi.library
  9. v2 or higher by Bill Barton (not included).  It should run under almost any
  10. version of the Amiga's OS.
  11.  
  12. Basically, this program sits in the background and watches your MIDI IN port
  13. for certain tunes.  When it recognizes a tune, it runs a program.
  14.  
  15. For instance, if I need my directory utility up, I can do one of three
  16. things:  (1) I can search through subdirectories for its icon (takes too
  17. much time and is boring), (2) I can press a ToolManager hotkey (takes much
  18. less time but is still boring), or (3) I can reach over and play a little
  19. jingle on my MIDI keyboard, and up pops MegaD.  The third choice is clearly
  20. much more fun than either of the others ;-).

  22. NEW!  Version 1.1!!  You can have it do silly things if you mess up a tune.
  23. If I play the first few notes from the MegaD tune, and then get a note
  24. wrong, my computer will let me know ("STUPID!!  YOU SO STUPID!!").  This
  25. is much more fun than v1.0 which would silently ignore you.  You can tell
  26. MidiWatcher which tunes have "failure" programs, what they do, and how much
  27. of a tune must be played before its "failure program" becomes armed.
